Starting Sunday, June 18, 2017, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche will start a new series of teachings based on Mountain Dharma by Tibetan master Karma Chakme.  Mountain Dharma is Karma Chakme’s instruction on how to attain enlightenment, with in-depth examination of the essential practices and foundational teachings of the Buddha.

Khenpo Kathar Rinpoche, the abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in New York, states: “Karma Chakme's Mountain Dharma is a complete text for those who want to practice Tibetan Buddhism. It is very precise and very clear. If you become well-acquainted with this text, you have everything you need to achieve enlightenment.”

This new series is appropriate for beginners and seasoned practitioners. It is not necessary to own Khenpo Kathar Rinpoche’s commentary on Karma Chakme’s text. Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche will select pieces from the text to teach from each week.
