Join us for Buddhist meditation, which includes the study and practice of methods such as mindfulness meditation, Lojong, and Mahamudra meditation. We will read, study, and practice from Rinpoche's latest book, Mind and Meditation.


This compilation work explains meditation through the exploration of three major areas: Mindfulness, Mind Training, and the Nature of Mind.  Mindfulness is explained through a very beautiful sutra called “The Four Foundations of Mindfulness.” The mind training instructions and commentary derive from the Seven Points of Mind Training from the Kadampa teachings.  And, the nature of mind discussion is supported by the very profound and concise Mahamudra teachings of Kunkhyen Pema Karpo.  This work also provides a clear commentary on the nine stages of calm abiding meditation. The intention here was to offer a unique compilation and commentary that presents complete, authentic and relevant teachings on Buddhist meditation.
