July 16th and 17th, 2016
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

As part of the initial auspicious activities at in our new dharma center space on Chesapeake Avenue, the Gampopa Center is hosting a weekend of precious and profound Sadhana practices for the community and its members. On July 16th, we will start with a very special practice called "Splendidly Blazing Wisdom: A Guru Yoga and Feast Offering of the Great Lord Milarepa.” Rinpoche practiced it during his three years retreat at Bokar Monastery, and will guide us with his experience. On July 17th, we will practice the Green Tara Sadhana, "The Mandala Ritual, the Essence of the Two Accumulations, from the Profound Drop of Tara, a Thought Treasure."

These two wonderful practices come as we welcome the arrival of Khenpo Norbu Gyaltsen, Abbot of Vihara Er Di, the Kagyu Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. Khenpo Norbu is visiting us in Annapolis, and will lead us in these practices as well.

The center will provide vegetarian lunch and beverages on both days, and is included in the cost of the session. The price for each day retreat is $50, with $40 for Supporting Members.

Please join us for two wonderful days of special practice with Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche, Khenpo Norbu, and the Gampopa Center.
