Rinpoche will teach on Concise Prayers for Daily Practice (pdf). This daily prayer book is designed for those who are interested in the practices of various sadhanas and mantras but have limited time for the practice of more extensive versions. All the prayers and mantras in this book originate from authentic sadhanas composed by enlightened masters and sutras from the Buddha. These very mantras and prayer verses have been practiced and blessed by countless accomplished practitioners, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. This book was compiled by Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche and is used in all practices conducted at the Gampopa Center.

May 20, 2018 through the end of summer

Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche will conduct a series of teachings based on Volume 2 of Mountain Dharma, by Tibetan master Karma Chakme.  Mountain Dharma is Karma Chakme’s instruction on how to attain enlightenment, with in-depth examination of the essential practices and foundational teachings of the Buddha.

Khenpo Kathar Rinpoche, the abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in New York, states: “Karma Chakme's Mountain Dharma is a complete text for those who want to practice Tibetan Buddhism. It is very precise and very clear. If you become well-acquainted with this text, you have everything you need to achieve enlightenment.”

Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche will select pieces from the text to teach from each week, with a focus on the experiences of meditation in Volume 2. These Sunday morning teachings are appropriate for everyone - beginners and seasoned practitioners.

It is not necessary to own the text, but it can be found here if you would like to purchase it.
